During a commanding display, the English national team wrapped up a further victory versus their opponents, featuring multiple players delivering notable displays throughout the game.
The goalkeeper Not a save required during the opening 45 before forced to intervene from an opponent's curling effort. His sliding tackle on an Albanian attacker highlighted sharp anticipation. Six out of ten
The debutant Tested against Albania’s primary attacker in their forward. Operated in a central role early on but moved out wide after Saka came on. Seven
The defender Advanced into midfield when in possession, something he's known for in the past. On occasion was too casual when carrying play and the experiment discontinued at half-time. Six
Dan Burn A constant threat from dead balls, typically, perhaps is an alternative to his teammate in the backline rather than alongside him. A loose distribution after the break almost led to an opener for the visitors. 6/10
Nico O’Reilly A further assured performance from the 20-year-old after his first cap against another side. A teammate was unable to take full advantage of an exquisite flick behind their defense. The role looks secure already. Seven
The newcomer A debut start for his country. A bit careless on the ball but his whipped corners posed a danger. A handy tempo-setter for the boss to have versus sides that sit back. Cautioned for a poorly timed foul. 6/10
Declan Rice Set-pieces from corners and free-kicks were dangerous. Had license to roam in left midfield but was offside upon receiving with a chance to score. Granted a merited rest after an hour. 6
The star midfielder Functioned in a forward spot down the right and also contributed with the hard yards. Showed flashes of quality but mishit a shot over. Replaced towards the end by Rogers, his competition, after receiving a caution. 7/10
The winger Had the team's best chance of the first half, his effort excellently kept out by the Albanian keeper. With a teammate holding position, he was forced to offer an outlet down the right side yet his deliveries from the touchline were hit and miss. Replaced with 15 to go. 6/10
Harry Kane The difference-maker with his two more finishes for his country. His first a typical close-range tap-in and his next a superb header following a clever run away from the opposition. Aged 32, he continues to improve and the side have every chance in the upcoming tournament when he's in the team. 8/10
The attacker Struggled to get into the game out wide. Had a decent opportunity after being played in from a teammate however the keeper made the save. His replacement produced a bigger effect in his place. Five
